DVDMenuBacks has been in flux during the month of August as we've been moving our offices to our new location. As such, we've not yet uploaded any new video content to our site in several weeks! We've produced a bunch of them, however, and hope to get the new ones up on the site within the next week. Thank you to everyone, especially our members, for your patience during this transition. Also during this month we've begun entertaining the idea of opening our website back up to motion graphics designers as we had back in 2004/2005 to bring our customers and members even more content from numerous motion graphic artists around the world. We've been working diligently on a strategy for making this happen and will be working over the next several weeks to put this system in place on our website. v3.1 Released

DVDMenuBacks is pleased to announce the completion of our latest series of updates and changes to our website, bringing us up to version 3.1! To give more focus on our content and make our pages load faster we have scaled down our graphics quite a bit and moved to a CSS based approach. We've also improved navigation and added a few minor Ajax features. We're going to be doing even more with Ajax in the near future and we're also playing with Flex for our members area to speed up locating and downloading of video content for our download members - all coming in version 3.2. For this version, however, we've incorporated a number of look and feel changes and made some significant optimizations to the backend to speed up page delivery as well as our download and ordering systems. We're continually updating our website to bring you the latest features and technologies - We've upgraded our backend to Coldfusion 8 completely now - so all of our sites across the world are now running the same backend. And, to top it all off we've added another 15 FFU AVI moving backgrounds to our collection this week bringing our total videos online to three hundread and nineteen (319)! We've come a long way in just under a year, producing nearly 27 new videos on average every month! We pledge to continue our onslaught of awesome moving background production to always deliver the freshest content to our customers. And finally, we've put another $80 into the We campaign contribution fund this month! DVDMenuBacks and the We campaign want to thank you for your continued support of the efforts to bring about the policies and changes required to reduce emissions, convert solar, thermal and wind energy, decentralize the power grid and so much more! And we would also like to thank our customers for their rave reviews of our current moving background collection and suggestions for future releases! Keep those suggestions coming - it's quickly becoming the easiest and cheapest way to get custom moving backgrounds on the internet today!

We just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a safe and wonderful 4th of July weekend. When celebrating your independance this weekend please take a moment to stop and remember all of the brave men and women still fighting for our freedom in Iraq and Afghanistan. Although many of us may no longer agree with the war and the reasons for our troops being away from home, we can all agree that those fine men and women have done an outstanding service to our country. We here at DVDMenuBacks would like to say Thank You to all the men and women of the armed forces both past and present for everything you've done and sacrificed for our country and the world. We owe you our deepest gratitude and appreciation and the men and women of our armed forces, our sons and daughters included, will be honored and remembered by us as we celebrate the independant spirit of our nation. Site Improvements!

We've made some significant backend changes and many smaller front-end and design changes to our website this past weekend. We've taken the suggestions of our clients, users and visitors and put them to good use by adding more visual cues to our pages to help you locate our videos even faster and focus on the previews. We've also made significant backend changes to improve the overall performance of our site and to bring some new features onboard. And, of course, we fixed many of those annoying visual bugs we've found between Internet Explorer and Mozilla based browser engines. Also new to DVDMenuBacks is the addition of some audio to our videos. We're experimenting with different ways of providing our customers and visitors with quality audio loops to accompany our growing video collection and hope to have a new audio section of our site open up in the next several weeks. We've added one video on our site, Elusivity Intro, which highlights our new audio composition, with many more to follow - and we've released a audio redux version of Diony's Meteor's on Blip.tv (dvdmenubacks.blip.tv). It's an exciting time to be a videographer, and we want to thank all our customers and visitors for making DVDMenuBacks the preferred source for full frame uncompressed AVI animated backgrounds video.

Bug Fixes

Thanks to our users who have located some pesky bugs we hadn't seen before we've made several improvements to our website. Our Windows Media previews were not working with some browsers and some versions of Windows Media Player - this has now been resolved. Our freebie system had a flaw that was preventing newsletter members who had taken advantage of our freebie codes from downloading their freebies - this has now been resolved. We noticed some formatting errors in Mozilla Firefox browsers and have modified our layout to compensate for many of these layout issues. We've also made some additional changes to our MP4 download system to streamline downloading of our open source video backgrounds and made some contextual changes to our website where needed. If you find any bugs we appreciate you using our Contact form to notify us of the problem and we'll work dilligently to eliminate it.
